I love Kitaro and have eleven of his albums in our 200 disk player! I think Over the Rhine is Cincinnati's best kept secret. The group is not well known but 'Wow' can she sing. We bought at least three albums and I would recommend them to people! I love this photo of Karin Bergquist. She is a very pretty woman! This song can only be sung by a Medicine Man and is intended to help heal a warriors heart and is sung by Navajo elder Kee Chee Jake who passed away several years ago. This chant is part of the Enemy Way Chant or as called in the Navajo language. It is a healing song sung to cleanse and heal Navajos, often warriors who have come in contact with ghosts. Again, it is meant to be sung *ONLY* by a Medicine Man of the Navajo Nation. |
When I first heard 'The Gates of Istanbul' by Loreena McKennitt, I went online and purchased the song. I love the lyrics and musical instruments in this song! What a great song, the words and music have so much depth! Sweet the Sting speaks for itself... I hope that you enjoy it! |
