Ruger GP100
The Ruger GP100 is a solid weapon with a great reputation. Many gun dealers have commented that the GP100 was over engineered by Ruger. When I compare this weapon with my Taurus or Smith & Wesson Revolvers, it is obvious that this is a heavy duty well built weapon! It is reliable and fun to shoot. My wife uses this as a personal defense weapon for our home. It is kept loaded and ready to go! The trigger pull is heavy enough in double action that she is not worried about an accidental discharge. But it is light enough so that we can go to the range and shoot 100 rounds through it and not have a sore finger or hand for that matter. This weapon is very easy and controllable! Again, both my wife and I are impressed with just how much fun this weapon is to shoot. We are also impressed with how accurate it is at longer ranges. Please note that we are using open sites. (We do not have a scope mounted on it!) It is worth having in your collection. If you want a weapon that is rugged and will last, then the Ruger GP100 would be a great choice that will provide years of enjoyment! |
